Perche' aprire un LJ dedicato all'Opera?
Perche' penso che oggi pochissimi davvero conoscano e apprezzino questo genere musicale che io personalmente adoro.
L'opera contiene tutto quello che una persona puo' desiderare...una trama avvincente, musica di qualita', un grande spettacolo. Eppure, ancora oggi quando mi trovo a teatro, sono spesso seduta accanto a persone che hanno sentito nominare Mozart solo in occasione del centenario.
Cosi' ho pensato di aprire questo LJ, in italiano ed in inglese. In ogni post faro' il riassunto in versione romanzata di un'opera celebre, aggiungendo, dove possibile, collegamenti a musical e film.
Per i riassunti mi aiutero' con il Dizionario dell'Opera 2006, Editore Baldini Castoldi Dalai.

Why a LJ devoted to Opera?
Because I think that nowdays few people really do understand and love this musical genre I personally adore.
Any opera is the perfect mix of everything...a breathtaking plot, quality music and a beautiful show. But still has happend to me to sit (in a theatre) beside people who had heard about Mozart for the first time thanks to the celebrations for his Centenary.
So I thought about starting a LJ both in Italian and English. I'll try to tell you the beautiful tale that every opera is, romancing the plot. I'll add, where available, links to similarities in movies and Broadway Musicals.
I'll make summaries with the help of the book  "2006 Opera Dictionary", edited by Baldini Castoldi Dalai (italian edition).
